"When Chu sneezed, bad things happened." The intriguing opening line of this charming book immediately pulls in young listeners. Start the conversation by asking children what they think happens when Chu sneezes. Then ask if Chu will…

Bad things happen when Chu sneezes. As he goes about his day he feels a sneeze coming on, but will he really sneeze? This is a really fun read-aloud book that kids will love to play along with.

Little panda Chu has one very big sneeze! This is a super fun one to read outloud, and if you enjoy it, there are a couple of others in the series. The anticipation builds just like those sneezes that you can feel creeping up on you, and…

I love this book about a day in the life of a Panda named Chu by Neil Gaiman. Poor Chu, has a mighty powerful sneeze. The illustrations by Adam Rex are colorful and imaginative. It's fun to try to identify the various animals scattered…

Was pleasantly surprised this was by Neil Gaiman. My son thinks the story is entertaining, especially if you play up the sneeze parts.

Chu is a young panda who has bad things happen when he sneezes. With this fact begins the suspenseful build towards the big event. Just how destructively massive will Chu's sneeze be? We go to a library with dusty books. Chu is able to…

The ending is too rush!

Cute, but the text is slight and relies too much on the illustrations. Also, Chu is a panda in image only. As far as the story goes he could just as easily be a human, a puppy, an elephant . . .

I thought the story was going to be quite good; it really seemed to be building up steam but then the ending just flopped. I agree... disappointing.
