I expected so much more from an Emeril cookbook than what this one was. Children are very visual & there was absolutely no visuals in this book that would inspire any child to cook. Each and every recipe included a full-color photo of Emeril's face place on top of very elementary graphics, while there was not one single photo of any food item. This bow to Emeril's ego felt more and more creepy as I worked my way through the book. As far as the recipes go, I found them to be no different than any other book.
