The movie is great! Catherine Zeta Jones and Richard Gere's acting are amazing and the songs stayed in my head for a while after I watched it. Renee Zellweger could have acted better though, but overall I enjoyed the rest of the movie. :)

I was going to call this one of the worst movies to win best picture, but then I remembered that "Forest Gump," "Dances with Wolves" and "Crash" have won too. I guess it's fun if you like musicals?

Zellweger was horribly miscast, but Zeta-Jones and Queen Latifah make up for it with wonderful performances. Not my favorite movie musical, but it's entertaining.

A nice musical movie.

I tried...but I didn't care for this movie at all.

Great performances by all: John C. Reilly, Gere, Zeta-Jones, Zellweger, and Queen Latifah. Good production values in a spectacle. (Although I did notice that, the second time around, "Razzle Dazzle 'Em" just didn't have the same effect.) Interesting and effective use of intercutting production numbers with "live" action. The story, about ambition, sleaze, and manipulation, is almost incidental, but does have it's points :-)

I love how they blended the two different interpretations of the Broadway versions to create this masterpiece.
