I specially enjoyed subtle, refined performance by Chris Cooper(horse trainer), and was amused by William H. Macy(funny radio man) - both in supporting roles.

Outstanding!! What a great movie to show the steadfast and determined spirit of a horse, its owner, and the rider!! The best depiction of a theme..."everyone is entitled to a second chance"!!! Highly recommend!!!

bit of a slow start and David McCullough's narration kept throwing me off because it sounded like an episode of American Experience ... but the movie finally came together. It's an amazing story of perseverance and a great metaphor for the American spirit! The archival film and photography reminds us that this is a true story!

I find that this is such an amazing story, based on a real animal!!! I have even viewed some of the documentaries about those involved. For anyone interested, the PBS was the best. Now, I want to return & see this movie again.

Around the last lap is Seabiscuit and pulling in front is HOMETHEATER. This is a very good movie filled with characters that you'll enjoy watching. However, since i do love sound this movie has a horse race that "sound freaks" will die for. In fact the sound was so good it's as if you are on the horse racing for the finish line. Everything from the thundering huffs of the horses to the loud cheers of the crowd. Excellent sound!!! But i won't forget it's beautifully told story of a horse that did. I give this movie 5 stars!!!!!! Very good story, good characters, excellent sound, and it makes you feel good. A huge burger with 6 strips of bacon, thin slices of pineapple, tomatoes, lettuce, mustard, ketchup, three slices of whole wheat bread, large fries, and black cherry soda.

This was a great movie and I liked how they mixed in some humor. It was also cool to see the real horse SeaBiscuit race in the special features.
