The book was okay – but not one of my favorites.

Very good with historical details and a nice twisty plot.

Very interesting plot. Just when you think you know "who'd done it"; new clues/facts proves otherwise. The ending is surprising. I couldn't put the book down since I want to find out who did it!

Chose this title because it seemed like another I had enjoyed in the past called "The Alienist." It wasn't. A simple and quick read from what appears to be a new author with (perhaps) promise for future offerings.
