Henry's books offer high intensity in an accessible package, and The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die is no different. It is a suspenseful thriller for the middle school crowd, twisting and turning every which way for the sake of survival!

This book was exciting and fast paced and good page tuner. Pretty good read a tad unbelievable that Caddy was always able to outsmart the bad guys but still i enjoyed this book.

16-year old Cady Scott wakes up in a cabin, but here's the catch: She doesn't know who she is. The only thing she knows is that someone is trying to kill her and she doesn't know why. She knocks out the guy reflexively and steals his car. She goes to the nearest police station. They get a call from Sagebrush saying that she is an escaped mental patient. She knows it can't be true. Cady finds a McDonalds, where she meets Ty. He takes her to his apartment where he hides her from the police. Cady learns that her parents made an important discovery while at work, and that the company they work for, Z-Biotech, wants to use it against the world. She must figure out how to stop them from getting it before it's too late. In my opinion, this book is an average "I have to be a horror story". It is depicted as a creepy book, but it's really not that scary. Overall a good read.
