Events › Friends of the Library Annual Meeting

Featuring Debra Freeman, food writer who focuses on African American culinary history. Debra will talk about the Virginia origins of three well-known foods: mac & cheese, BBQ, and fried chicken, and those foods will be served at the meeting. Membership in the Friends of the Library is not required to attend, but anyone wishing to join or renew can do so at the meeting and collect their membership reward.
