Presented by Widewater State Park Chief Ranger, Ellen Hillborn. Join us at Widewater State Park this Arbor Day to learn the basics of tree planting! Witness a demonstration on proper tree preparation for transplanting, digging the appropriate hole size, and other tips for a healthy tree. Planting will occur in the native plant garden next to the Visitor Center. While participants won't be planting trees, closed-toe shoes are recommended due to dirt and debris.
