I'm not really into these Pixar movies, but this one is pretty cute. My favorite part of this movie is David Hyde Pierce playing the Stick Bug. His scenes (alas, far and few between) are hilarious!

More humorous and directed at kids more than Antz. Has this underlying message/lesson: the powerful rely on the masses for support. Don’t let them oppress you.

Yes, this movie came out a month after Antz. Yes, they both are about ants. The designs are significantly different and the humor, while not nearly as mature, is still pretty solid. Kevin Spacey is great as Hopper.

I think this was definitely one of the better Pixar films! It had really interesting and varied character designs and world building themes, and a great message behind it.

We have watched this twice, each time with a different grandson, and everyone found it funny and imaginative. It also allowed some discussion of bullying and how the youngest ants were least intimidated.

I just saw A Bug's Life for first time this week. Got it from the library for my 3 year old to watch and she loved it. However, compared to Pixar's stronger movies (Toy Story 2, Wall-E, Up!, etc.) this wasn't as good. Maybe it is just…

Extremely funny well done and looks awesome. though only thing you could say that is technically wrong with it is that most of the bugs only have 4 limbs in instead of 6. but who cares it is an awesome movie
