As always, the book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series was just as captivating as the others. However, it did start off a bit slow but slowly it became more and more intense and riveting, becoming a book which I could not put down. The story of Quinn and Blay was really beautiful and passionate. Overall, lovely book once again by J.R. Ward!
So apart from the multiple whining sessions of Qhuinn and Blay-- which started to drive me crazy-- I felt this book had more action in it... finally. Perhaps this had more to do with Sola and Assail's story-line. Is it wrong to root for Assail too? LOL. In the end, I was happy those brothers finally got together-- just wish it had been much much sooner in the book. I'm also rooting for Layla and Xcor. And more stories from the Shadows too. And Rev. I miss Rev. Okie, onto the next book...
So enjoyed this story between Quinn and Blay. It was spell binding and held me emotionally. I know they are characters, but the characters feel real to you,and you feel all the emotions between them.
Now have a better understanding of the love between two males.
J.R.Ward is one of the best story tellers out there.
LOVED!LOVED!LOVED! I Love the Brotherhood. And the story between Blay and Quinn? *SIGH* Oh my it was great. Looking forward to reading the next where Sola is concerned. Xcor makes me sick. I'm not 100% sure of Assail, but he definitely sounds delicious, yet T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Hopefully not too much for Sola :D I just adore the author. Easily 5 stars.
Did not care for this book at all, could of been because I have never cared for the character Blay. But read it anyways as I wanted to find out what was going on with the other characters. Found myself skim reading a lot over the Quinn and Blay parts.
I am glad that love won over everything else. This book was great especially since there were new love stories unravelling & I can't wait to read all of them; especially Assail's and Marisol's (Sola)
I was looking forward to reading this book... but this was like some badly written fanfiction. This author is a best-seller? Everything about this book as as affected as the author's Tilda Swinton pose on the back cover.
I LOVE me some Black Dagger Brotherwood, but I can't give this book 5*****s. I have been waiting for a long time for JRW to pen this novel, Qhuinn and Blay are finally together...but too much is going on in this book, and it leaves me with many unanswered questions. BOOKBUG87 you are right it's hard to choose between Wrath,Beth and Z , Bella . If she pen a story about that drug dealer I won't buy or read it.
OMG! FINALLY! I've been waiting so long for this book to be written and come out and....it doesn't fail! One of her best books in awhile :) It leaves me with so many questions!! Lots of unresolved issues with many of the characters. I love the new characters and I wish I could comment more questions without giving story stuff away, but this book just blows me away! I loved seeing more Shadow action and Brother interaction. I've missed that in the last few books. Oh and let's not forget their shellans! Wrath and Beth are still my fave couple though the decision is hard. Z and Bella rate right up there with them. I wonder who her next book will be about??...Trez? Xcor? Whoever has the lead in the next book, it's sure to be an edge-of-your-seat adventure! I can't wait!! :)
Love you JR Ward. Your books are simply amazing. Good for the gay couple. Love that they discussed their relationship in depth. When is the next book coming uo...Selena, Assail, Layla, Xcor......who is next......
So satisfying! I have been waiting for Qhuinn to pull his head out of his ass forever. Blay and Qhuinn are my favourite BDB couple. The only thing better than vampires are hot gay male vampires. Mmm. I only wish more of the novel were devoted to Blay and Qhuinn, but that's because I'm a glutton for these two.
**People read the description before they read the book, right? Isn't that standard practice for most people? Why the heck are you reading a book about a gay couple when you're a bigoted, intolerant, small-minded person? Go read some religious book, you annoying cretin.**
I have been waiting forever for Qhuinn and Blay to come together. They are totally hot and there love is eternal. I really couldn't get into the other stories. Xcor and Layla yes, but the others I just passed over. Do they need another drug dealer and as a drug dealer does he deserve to find everlasting love? Save that for the good guys. He might be a vampire but selling drugs does not a good guy make. I only gave it 4* based on the other stories. I would give it 5* like the others in this series it was based around Blay & Qhuinn, with Layla & Xcor being that there stories are connected. I did buy this on my Kindle and have read the best parts about 10x already.
Just finished it...got to get it back for everyone else waiting. AWESOME!!! But not surprising...J.R. Ward is an amazing writer. Love Qhuinn and Blay's story as well as all the new developing story lines. Excellent!!!
you have the full record wrong Blay is NOT A FEMALE!! :) just thought id tell ya lol
So excited too! Although I might have to buy this, don't think I can wait to be number 49 on the hold list!
I have not read the book yet but i am so excited! I love her work and they are so far the best i have read :D
