Loved this book! Simple - tender - on the upbeat. The writer has a talented way to include hard reality with soft beauty.

Almost every story moved me to tears. As an animal lover, I loved the way that the value of animals (wild and pet) were confirmed. I particularly like the last story "The Shell" which was symbolic and true to life.
