What a poor idea for a book. Well, why not two books in one. A real bargain. LOL. In a few words: dull, dull, dull. And the end is like a small fire cracker that petered out. Very bad writing.

Based on the reviews and other comments, I was sadly disappointed in this book. I kept waiting for it to get good, but it never passed being mildly suspenseful. I was left frustrated by what I perceived as a non-ending. The story didn't seem to go anywhere and simply petered out. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I felt like this book was a waste of time for me.

I read this when it was first published in the early 90s and could still remember how tense it was at the beginning.I reread it recently and found the same response as I had earlier.Great read and I heartily recommend it.
