1945 takes as its departure point from actual history the idea that the US did not fight against Germany after Pearl Harbor. The authors have created a whole new course of history, starting in 1945 with Nazi Germany controlling all Europe except Britain. The hero must foil a Nazi plan.

It wasn't a bad first novel. Just that no clue what happened to formerly Japanese occupied South East Asian countries other than Nationalist China having larger army.
Novel nothing to get exciting about compared to its peers.
Pity there won't be a sequel thanks to poor sales & publisher forced to pulp the hardcovers.
Classic case of too much on the author fame.
