Didn't mind the older woman younger man romance.
It sure ain't regency romance with Texas development company trying to develop dark ages rediscovered Skyfall colony from ancient Ruby empire.
Yes, series have themes of incest. However, Rhon based on recessive telepathic genes from both parents. Can't be cloned & extremely rare. Fearful Skolian assembly forced Rhon breeding to power their military & FTL network.
