It was hilarious but just okay.

This was rather mild for a Shakespeare play. While I can't aver that I understood every pun and allusion in the play I did enjoy it. It's amazing how a play existing almost on dialogue alone can convey such vivid images.

A fun Shakespearean comedy full of mysticism and magic! Act V is a bit rushed but otherwise it's a fun read. Read in preparation for New York Classical Theater's production of "The Tempest" (and the John Cassavetes film "Tempest," which I saw at BAM).
