I have to comment, because I can't believe no one has reviewed this magnificent book, yet. A father and daughter shared a read-along of this yesterday at the Brooklyn Branch of Cleveland Public Library and came away moved. The poetry of
Angela Johnson and lush imagery of Loren Long transport the reader. It's a wonderful book to introduce the concept of memory to any reader of any age.
