The fabled Forsyte family saga continues. Fluer, the daughter of Soames and Annette, and Jon, the son of Irene and Jolyon, meet by chance as youngsters. A decade later, they meet again and fall instantly - and disasterously - in love. This era in the saga of the privileged Forsytes unfolds amid the gaiety and social upheaval of the 1920's, the dawn of the modern age.

A Great Series, wish there was more.

Series 2 maintains the same extraordinarily high level as series 1. In fact, this series is emotionally more involving. Damian Lewis and Rupert Graves remain masterful in their respective roles, and they are joined by the fine young actors Emma Griffiths Malin and Lee Williams, who bring a special poignancy to their roles. In all, the entire Forsyte Saga is something special.

A strong continuation of the first series. This focuses on the next generation but shows how the past never goes away. It ends abruptly, but that might be following the book. The house at Robin Hill is gorgeous.
