nora is a very smart person and she want to keep it as a secret so no one knows
"Fifth-grader Nora Rowley has a problem with grades, her latest report card, with five D's and one C, proves it. What nobody knows because she kept it a secret that she is really a genius and has earned those low marks on purpose because of her friend Stephen who doesn't like the way tests make him feel about himself (dumb)." Add a CommentNora is a very intelligent 5th grade girl, but she keeps this a secret because she wants to fit in. Even though Nora could ace every one of her tests easily, she wants to prove a point by purposely bringing home a bad report card.
The Report Card is an intriguing book that you will find very empowering.
I love this book! It is a very simple read but i still like it.
i really like this book but it wasnt as fun as i thought it would be
This book is about a girl who is very smart but no one knows about it! She thinks that kids and parents care too much about grades, so she starts to get zeroes on purpose to show people that they are wrong. My favourite character is Nora and my favourite part is when Nora does an IQ test for sixteen and a half year olds. This was a very good book. I recommend it and I also recommend other books by Andrew Clements.
This is an amazing and funny book!
cool funny great book
this is a good book
i remember reading this when i was in like fourth or fifth grade it was ok it had a very different style
Smart! This is one of my favorite Andrew Clements' novels. I love the idea of addressing the genuine problems in modern education through the eyes of a genius fifth grader. An alternative title for this read could be Testing Overload.
