Another good yet sad story.

Anacaona, Golden Flower was a truly amazing story about a young girl and her experiences growing up. The story takes place in the late 1400's and explain's the culture and the lifestyle of the people living in that time period, through a girls diary.
It was based on a true story and I found it very interesting.

I liked it a lot, a lot of kids my age should know some about this time (I am 12 BTW) It is about before the white people started to invade the native. I liked it a lot the end is very good but the historical notes kinda ruin the end. I am almost finished all the royal diaries that the librares own so if you have any suggestions of books that are good (I love horse books but not horse facts books) pls email me at thx.
