Better than I anticipated. Just understand that Prometheus and its sequel completely ignore and undermine the AvP timeline.

Super neat movie. Just lacks the carnage and violence that is Alien and Predator.

A pretty good movie especially if you see it on a big screen. Slow to get started and characters are ridiculous, but the fight scenes between aliens and predators are really good and fill the whole screen and worth waiting for.

Oh snap! The predators are fighting the aliens! Credit this with you know what you're getting just from the title. As a fan of both the "Alien" series and the original "Predator," I can say that I had very little interest in this and also that it is ridiculous, but not in a bad way. This owes nearly as much to Carpenter's "The Thing" and "Chariot of the Gods" (aliens visited earth to build pyramids and be worshiped) as it does to its sources. It builds suspense well before just embracing its absurdity. Bonus for casting Lance Henriksen. You could spend plenty of time pointing out the plot holes and the confusing story, but I'll just pick one: Wouldn't the predators, with all their advanced technology, have better, acid-proof armor by now? Just saying. From the director of "Resident Evil."

Ooh! Acid-blood here! Acid-blood there! Acid-blood! Acid-blood! Everywhere!_____ Have you ever noticed that the bigger the budgets have gotten for these tiresome Alien movies the worse and more convoluted their story-lines have become? Well, I have._____ I don't know about you, but, I find that this once hideous-looking creature's image has now become so familiar that it no longer has the ability to generate any awe or fright, whatsoever._____ To me the alien only looks stupid, almost laughable, with its excessive drooling, its mouthful of projectile teeth, and its watermelon-shaped head that appears to be without any eyes. (Like, how the heck does this creature actually see what it's doing?)_____ I thought that it was pretty damn lame and completely humorless that a Pepsi-Cola bottle-cap turned out to be the great, all-important find discovered at an archaeological dig amongst some ancient ruins in Mexico._____ And, I thought that it was ridiculous beyond words how the Alexa Woods character managed to actually befriend the ferocious Predator creature. By the end of the movie I was half-expecting these 2 bosom-buddies to join hands and go merrily skipping down the set's darkened corridors together, so pleased with themselves in their happy, little universal bond of brotherly/sisterly love._____ It would be a total understatement to say that AVP's screenplay could've been a whole lot better. _____ Yep. Give me Godzilla Vs. The Smog-Monster over this disappointing mess - Any day - Any day - Any day!

DTS, aliens, predators, and good action makes this movie perfect for your HOMETHEATER. I've always enjoyed the Predator and Alien. Now seeing them fight in a movie is what horror and sceince fiction fans wanted. The one thing i always look forward to is the advanced weapons of the Predator. And this movie did not dissapoint me. A quick scene where the large Predator ship in space, fires it's weapon at earth to make a tunnel had good sound. It was also cool seeing the large Predator ship fly over the heads of the explorer team in silent mode. Nice!!. The ship looked awesome with it's razor like fins and sleek design. This movie has plenty of sounds during it's action scenes and i have made it a part of my collection. It was also nice to see Sanaa Lathan in the lead role even though i'm not familiar with her being the action type. I'm giving this movie 4 stars. The alien and Predator fighting, very good action, good weaponry, good sound, and very nice visuals. A pint of ice cream with oreos, chocolate chips, fudge, blend to make a shake, with your pastrami sandwich.
