A New York Times Bestseller -- It's been more than six months since her husband's death, and Julia is just beginning to breathe again. Now, strolling along San Francisco's Pier 39, she realizes that she's happy. And then it comes to an end. Out of nowhere, an attacker approaches and throws her over the railing. If not for Special Agent Cheney Stone, Julia would have vanished into the bay.

An interwoven tale of mystery and suspense about a women - whose husband was brutally murdered - being targeted by an assassin and it's connection to the dissappearance of another woman and the appearance of a lookalike. The FBI gets involved with the local police to solve the puzzle. Way too much interrogation of psychics and not enough relevant action scenes or suspense. The author obviously has a belief in psychics. Don't recommend.
