Not his best, but I still enjoyed it. 6 of 10 for me.

This book about Afghanistan is a thinly veiled political rant against Obama. It also has the generic thriller characters who are all incredibly good looking, athletic, and ultra-powerful. If you thought "24" was dumb with a field agent having a direct line and personal relationship with the president... well, this is the same baloney.

As great a thriller writer as he is, even Brad Thor can't do it every time out. The apostle is not up to par with the Last Patriot or Takedown. 5 of 10 stars
