I was very impressed by Sue Monk Kidd's story of how at 50 she found the courage and faith to trust in her own creative process. Her description of the path and many epiphanies that led to her writing her first novel, The Secret Life of Bees is extraordinary - and inspiring.

Fairly uneventful book about the relationship between a mom and her daughter, with lots of musings and descriptions of their travels to mainly historic religious sites. I found it gentle.

This was good, but a bit sugary in places. I have a thing about Greece, so I enjoyed it.
