This was actually my favourite of the 4 books I've read so far (just started Darkest Mercy, which is book 5 and the final of the series). I was slightly confused by the vague references to Keenan being MIA throughout the entire book, but fortunately it gets explained early on in book 5. This is another series that fell victim to the middle books not being as good as the beginning and end, so if you enjoyed book 1, skim through 2 and parts of 3, devour 4 and we'll see for 5!

Melissa Marr is back at her best in this fourth Wicked Lovely book. Plenty of passion and violence.

The fourth book in the Wicked Lovely series finds Ani coping with not one, but two hungers. Definitely was a fun and easy read. It was fun waiting for Devlin to let go and stop being repressed. :)

So, today I finished Radiant Shadows by Melissa Marr, the third book in the Wicked Lovely series (YA fiction). I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books and actually expected to be disappointed in the third because it dealt with entirely different characters. However, I was pleasantly surprised and this may have actually been one of my favorites in the series. The characters were dynamic and well-thought-out. I felt like you learned a lot about the characters, whereas in the first two you were really learning about all the characters the entire time. This book got you through a lot without being overwhelming and brought out a lot of previously minor characters. The budding romance between the two main characters of this book, Devlin and Ani, was well-done and true to the characters’ personalities. I still wish I could know more about what was going on with the main characters from the other books during this time, but overall, it was a very enjoyable read. Hopefully the fourth (and I believe final) book will fill in some gaps when it is released in February.

I enjoyed this book as I enjoy the series but I was also disappointed as the last book left us in sort of a cliff hanger between Seth and Ash and this book wasn't about them, not even as a side..there was not one scene of them together so I was upset about that. I enjoyed learning more about Devlin and Ani - I will read the next book but I really hope to read what is happening with Seth and Ash...

The begining was boring. Probably because I haven't read the books in a while. Once I got into it it was pretty good. Too bad I had to suffer through the first 100 pages.

I am kind of disappointed in this book in the series. It did not keep my attention as the others.

She scrambled backward off the bed. "Ani?" He held out a hand. "Have I offended--" "No." Her eyes were shimmering with the vivid green of the Hunt. She was the Hunt, and she could consume him.
