I liked the art better in this book, but that was about it. Considering they ended the first book with wanting to find the indigo moon I was surprised to find it's not even mentioned until halfway through the book. And what's with Sadie and Erik not believing Saskia about Madame Raphael? They seemed to in the first book... And then of course Potempkin came back, so I imagine I'll be seeing him in the third book as well...
