She's done it again

I enjoyed Green Angel so I picked this one up which is the continuation of the story. Like the first book this is a quick read, full of poetic style. But, I didn't like this one as much as the first. The plus side is that you get a much happier ending in this story than the previous.

This is a simple "magic" story for younger women readers or for women who like poetry. The story is obvious, this is not the Alce Hoffman of Dovekeepers so adult readers, give it a miss if you are looking for mature plot lines and complex emotional portraits.

My favorite book ever. Beautiful, enchanting and heartfelt, the lessons in this book will stay with me forever.

Ms. Hoffman adds to Green Angel more truth and beauty in Green Witch.

I really liked the use of making books and paper specific for people's stories.

I am a bookbinder, and a not very good papermaker... it's got a wonderfully imaginative sense to putting people's stories together, with cinnamon in the paper for the baker, and so forth.
