Not as bad as the rest of Fox News, but... the obvious critique of this book's ideology (Libertarian) is the massive hypocrisy of the Free Market mythology. When someone is bribed and paid off, who is really the one in charge? If wealth is power, who are the wealthiest and profits most from wars and foreign intervention? Perhaps, multinational corporations? Big banks, extraction industries (fossil fuel, minerals), weapons/chemical manufacturers, etc.

Free Market? Yes, free to extract, to control debt, to speculate and scam, to monopolize, to break unions, to outsource, to colonize foreign regions... to create such vertical power structures where politicians are purchased (campaign contributions, lobbying) and lackeys are appointed as so-called regulators. Government is indeed guilty as well, but deregulate corporate elites?! What happened to the era of The New Deal, Labor unions, Glass-Steagall, anti-trust acts, etc.??? Corporate Media wants you to forget, with the Koch brothers financing the Tea Party, Rupert Murdoch's news empire, including.... Fox News.

This book is going to irritate anyone who believes in Big Government, which includes both liberals and conservatives.

However, this book provides history you will not find in textbooks, and makes it clear that government is not the benign or good -hearted organization so many assume it is.

Read the book and find out the truth.
