Such and awesome sequel!
The very end made me feel panicky though...must read last book!

WOW.. this book Kicked butt!! it was a great 2nd book to the 1st one. had all the goods.. action, fantasy, awesome detail, romance, thrills and goodness...
BETTER than the 1st!

Darkight is just as wondrous and strange as Wondrous Strange. It was a thrill to read. And even though it has been a long time since I've read the first book, Wondrous Strange, I'm actually trying really hard to remember everything, but luckily Darklight retells it again. Ever since Kelley Winslow realized she was a Faerie Princess, found true love and defeated the Wild Hunt, a band of lost Fae, and saving humanity; Kelley's back into her human world and preparing for a play Romeo and Juliet. She is stubborn (just like her mother) yet courageous and determined. And with every kiss that's in the script, she longs for Sonny, a changeling she met, fell in love with, and is stays in the Otherworld, her home. But eventually she gets her ticket back to her native land as she encounters a horrible muggler, and she finally gets to meet Sonny again. But he's changed as a Janus Guard, he is loyal to the the Winter King and he must kill the remaining Wild hunters that roam the land. There is also a powerful magic starting to surface and it's threatening to rip Kelley and Sonny apart.

As I read the book, it reminded me about The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. The main character, Meghan Chase is also a faery princess.

This story blew me away. It is action-packed, romantic, scary and heartbreaking (when you get to the ending). This is one of my favourite faerie series I've ever read. And I can't wait for the next installment to arrive.
