Interest level: ages 8-12. This is a smart read set at an extremely fast pace. Join Ted and his sometimes catty sister Kat as they solve the mystery of their cousin Salim who goes missing while riding the London Eye. Jam-packed with interesting facts and a quirky main character who will have you cheering.

It is a great mystery! I could not put it down. I draws you in wanting you to just read the next chapter, until you finish the book.

This is a great Juvenile mystery that I think would fully draw in kids between 10 and 12, but it is still an enjoyable read for any age. I think the author’s respect for both her target audience and the mystery genre itself shines through the pages, and she is able to deliver a fresh, dynamic story with a unique narrator.

"The London Eye is a huge ferris wheel that takes its passengers on a 30-minute sightseeing ride nearly 450 feet in the air. When Ted and Katrina's cousin Salim comes to visit, they take him to the Eye, where a stranger offers him one free ticket for the ride. Salim takes the ticket and boards a passenger capsule... but when it comes back down, he has disappeared. Was he kidnapped? Killed?!? Ted, whose "funny brain... runs on a different operating system," usually just annoys his sister Kat, but now his strictly logical, keenly observant mind may be the only thing that can save Salim. This riveting read offers not only a deliciously tricky puzzle to solve, but great characters, too." Kids' Books January 2014 newsletter

Ultra-clever mystery for young readers (5th grade or older) that will teach them loads and entertain as well. I found Ted to be a uniquely delightful hero.

A thrilling Mystery! It keeps you trying to figure it out throughout the book, until it's handed to you on a silver plate at the end! Almost couldn't put it down!

When Ted and Kat's cousin Salim goes missing from an aerial tourist attraction in London, called The London Eye, the two siblings search desperately to try and find him. One of the characters, Ted has Asperger's syndrome, so there's alot of detail about how he deals with this and he's a mathematical whiz too. A really exciting mystery title and one that I really enjoyed reading!
