A pretty preposterous "back from the dead" storyline, but the numerous flashback sequences to Cap's life were extremely well handled and the art was awesome.

Fairly good volume, might have worked better if the book had used a single artist (Hitch probably has issues with keeping to a schedule), and if it was compressed to four issues rather then six. Mercifully, when the Avengers show up, Brubaker does us a favour and ensures that Bendis' golden boy Luke Cage isn't one of them.
