Determined to prove that Yoga can transform anyone, filmmaker Kate Churchill finds a test subject to document. Nick Rosen is skeptical, but agrees to be her guinea pig. Kate immerses Nick in yoga and follows him around the world as he examines the good, the bad and the ugly of Yoga. The two encounter celebrity yogis, true believers, kooks and world-renowned gurus. Tensions soar as Nick's transformational progress lags and Kate's plan crumbles. Ultimately, what they find is not what they were looking for.

Somewhat disappointing. The director had a clear bias and her unacceptance of Nic's experience got annoying. I did appreciate the conclusion that the experience of yoga varies greatly and can't be summed up.

The most interesting parts of this movie are when the Indian yogis are being interviewed, and when the film maker herself admits she has Nick going through this process to see if he could attain the enlightenment she searches for herself.

I've never done yoga, but have thought about it. This doc was very informative. I mostly enjoyed watching Nick's time in INdia and visiting the different yogis. The last yogi really had some answers that made good senses.

This is one of the best documentaries I have ever seenand it has actually changed my life for the better. Even though yoga doesn't transform the life of this novice yogi, the film beautifully depicts the many kinds of yoga that exist and the true meaning of yoga of which is very vast. There is no one single definition of yoga. It means something different to everyone and therein lies the true beauty of the practice.

The fellow whose journey was being followed became more and more annoying. There were some interesting aspects but all in all hardly worth the filmmaker's efforts or my time.
