Entertaining and witty, but a far cry from the quality of Zusak's marvelous "Bookthief"; however, it tries to promote unselfishness and tolerance in a way that will probably appeal to young people.

Heartwarming, funny, and creative. Ending is questionable though. Nice to see how Markus Zusak transitions form something like this, into the Book Thief.

Zusak is one of my favourite authors, and this book justifies that sentiment. He makes you feel for Ed Kennedy, but not so much as to get in the way of the story.

great great great book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! unpredictable, sweet, funny, sad, happy, weird (in a good way). over all awesome! a must read! may seem not worth it and pointless at the begging but it gets to be a great story!!!!!!!!! start of the book is weird and funny. middle is deep/sad/happy. end is sooooo sweet! love it love it love it!

Ed Kennedy is a 19 yr. old taxi driver who seems to lack the ambition to do anything with his life other than play cards with his friends. After he stops a bankrobbery, he begins to receive cards with addresses of people who seem to need his help. This quirky, witty book was written by the Markus Zusak, author of The Book Thief.
