Caught in a crab trap, the little dolphin’s tail was so badly damaged that she lost it. Could a prosthetic—artificial—tale be made for her?

A very cute real story of how a dolphin learns to swim again after losing her tail due to being caught badly in a crab trap and about the wonderful people that took care of her.

Winter did survive/is alive and is living happily in Florida. You can see her in the upcoming Dolphin Tale movie in Sept 2011.
