Extremely disappointed. Though this book had a huge potential, the author couldn't quite pull it off.

Eve is a young woman who has been confined to her house for the past two years, living with a father-like man named Jack. She has no memories of before these two years. Outside her door lies Victorian London. But when she escapes, she realizes that her world is actually a theme park created in the year 2048 called Pastworld, where the rich residents of the outside world come for a break from boring twenty-first century life and action.

Caleb is visiting Pastworld for the first time when he comes across a dead body. After getting blood on his hands from the knife, he flees arrest and hanging. His story intersects with Eve's when both find themselves fleeing a man known as the Fantom, a Jack-the-Ripper-esque murderer who terrorizes the streets of Pastworld. ----See my full review here: http://throughthebookvine.blogspot.com/2011/04/pastworld.html
