Thorpe's story of determination and perseverance . Jim was sent to Indian boarding school and struggled in academics but excelled at sports. Jim moved from school to school over the years, overcoming family tragedies , until his athletic ability was recognized by a Coach at Carlisle Indian School . This is a true story and very well presented .
