Get this book--we loved it. Inspirational story about mobilizing a community, all down to the action and imagination and courage of a feisty librarian. We need more stories featuring librarians as heroines, love it!

Inspiring and heart warming! A story about how to get rid of those stuffy, old fashioned libraries.

When RoseAleta Laurell started working at the historic old library, it had very few books, furniture or anything else for children. She decided to raise some money to buy these things. How? She sat up on the roof! Yes, a determined RoseAleta sat up on the roof through sun, rain and wind, day and night, until $40,000 was donated to buy the things the library needed for the children of the community.
