Good characters, suspense, love. Nora knows a lot about firefighting. That is one thing I like about Nora--she must research certain subject matters for her books.

Interesting story but not as good as some of her other books.

Whodunnit and romance with some well described interesting action. Fun to read, enjoyed the characters and the excitement of fire jumping which I've never even heard of before.

If your taste is books featuring super-strong, independent heroines with exciting & interesting jobs, you’ll like this one. “Rowan” the main character in this book is a wildfire fighter in Montana, and she can hold her own with any man. I used to live next door to a crew of guys that worked as ‘fire jumpers’ in the interior of BC. Nora Roberts is pretty bang-on with her description of the life-style. Read it, it’s good fun.

It was a fairly good book but the main character was not that appealing to me.

Great book. Fast paced with many interesting details on firefighting. Nice plot and twists in the story line. Deep and believable characters (although that might depend on the point of view as I see scanning previous comments) and their development and romance (of course). Fun read.

I didn't like the main character as much this time. She was a little too edgy for me. however, Nora Roberts can always take my mind off my troubles!

Nora is a one of my favourite writer and i usually enjoy her books
I am not going to give the details on this just my comments.
Chasing F was way too much information on fire 101, it read like a manual
There was no femineity to to the heroine so the chemistry of the H and h was just not believeable.
There was no nail biting "who did it", it was obvious from the get go.This is not so in her previous books,as a matter of fact her father and his girlfriend provided some relief to the boredom
Personally i skipped a lot of the pages which was again and again about what the Chasers have to do.

Thank God for LIBRARIES as i did not buy this book
I gave it a three because it is Nora and a lot of research was done and it makes a good Fire101 reading

While good, this is just like almost every other recent stand-alone novel I've read by her that she's published in the last decade. I will concede to say that this is well-researched, but I think the mystery-solving aspect of the two main characters was a little beyond what is strictly realistic. I enjoyed the action with the firefighting more than I did the story between the lovers, which wasn't as well-developed as I'd have liked, and much more than the unnecessary addition of all the murder and mystery.
