Adult rated, Linda Jacobs Altman’s ‘Adolf Hitler – Evil Mastermind of the Holocaust’ provides a very good introduction to Adolf Hitler; only 160 pages. This would be a great reference book for any high school student needing to write a biography on a well known personality. It includes a segment on: a Timeline – The Life of Adolf Hitler, Chapter Notes, a Glossary, and a section on further reading suggestions on Adolf Hitler, the Holocaust, Nazi Germany, Hitler’s Associates, Word War II, and Internet suggestions. The book focuses mainly on the young Hitler and what molded him into the monster he became and briefly provides the highlights of his life after the start of WW II. It is very nicely written and recommended for students 13 and older. Senior Doctor-at-Bass! D. A.
