Humourous and well-scripted; made me re-read some thing in appreciation. Niko comes across as far less irritatingly righteous and perfect. A little less angst made for a fun read.

The latest in the Cal Leandros series. Rob Thurman has created a lovely blend of modern day America with a paranormal twist. The monsters are alternately scary and humorous. Welcome comic relief comes in the form of a horny satyr, Robin Goodfellow. I love this series, and Ms. Thurman keeps throwin new curve balls at poor Cal.

I love this series so much. "Blackout" was an improvement from "Roadkill", but I still missed seeing the story from Niko's point of view. If you love urban fantasy with a healthy side of snark, this series is for you.
