"A full master of the epic fantasy."
--Tulsa World

One of the world's most acclaimed fantasists, New York Times bestselling author Robin Hobb returns to the world of her popular "Tawny Man" trilogy with Dragon Haven--the second book, following Dragon Keeper ("Imaginative, literate, and compassionate from first page to last" --Booklist) in an epic adventure about the resurgence of dragons in a world that both needs and fears them. Hobb, whose Soldier Son Trilogy (Shaman's Crossing, Forest Mage, Renegade's Magic) has won raves from critics, fans, and peers alike, returns to the Rain Wilds with Dragon Haven, and readers of Raymond Feist, Terry Brooks, and Lois McMaster Bujold will eagerly follow.

Dragon's are usually portrayed as such magnificent creatures, it is refreshing to find a book that doesn't make them start that way; these deformed dragons have to grow, both physically and behaviorally, into the awesome creatures we know.

Mercedes Lackey and Robin Hobb share that key ingredient in their books - believable characters who really are human in their communications with themselves and with the world outside of themselves.

It was a real pleasure to read a love story inside the greater domain of this book. A love story between a narcisstic man (Sedric) and the blossoming relationship with a new man. A new man with power, love, honour operating with integrity in him self and in the world.

Thank You Robin Hobb for giving all of your characters power, love and visibility inside of a natural being-ness.
