This is a very good book and one based on true facts. I enjoyed it throughout - well written and flows very nicely.

This is an amazing book... primarily a fictionalized biography of the author's grandmother and great-grandmother's lives as Italian immigrants in New York in the early 1900s.

Very well-written and researched and just about impossible to put down.

Highly readable and fascinating.
