This, in my opinion, was by far my favorite and the best Redwall book. I hope that Brian Jaques lived long enough to see it's success. I am hoping that there will be another Redwall book, but I know that it will never beat Mr. Jaqcues work. Rest in Peace Brian Jaqcues knowing that you were well loved by all those who read your wonderful work.

I cried at the ending...mostly because of Mr. Jacques' death last year, but his legacy will live on through the saga of Redwall...and of course Castaways of the Flying Dutchman, but his Redwall series will live on through the ages of time and bring new readers to attention and old admirers the memories of matthias, martin the warrior, lord brocktree, the long patrol, and of course of favorite characters, the Logalog leader of tribes. Go raibh maith agat maité (Thanks, mate)

Yet another beautifully crafted Redwall book. I savored every last word of this, knowing it will probably be the last. We all love you, Brian Jacques, may you rest in peace, knowing that your legacy will live on.
