The learned 22950006357453 is probably right but s/he misses the point. Sure this book will have errors [what doesn't?] but it is a uniquely painless introduction to philosophy and that warrants congratulations and reading.
A boatload of fun and stimulating. I learned my faves are Diogenes, Shopenhauer, and Spinoza.

is this even accurate? in the freud section it depicts breuer as a coward that abandonned freud when the going got rough, when in fact it was freud that abandonned breuer because freud did not want to share credit for future renowne with the influencial breuer, who gave freud his grounding in psychological theory, beginning with the anna o case.
freud was at heart a self centered egomaniac control freak who wanted everyone to bow to him as a 'big daddy'.
