I, like too many others, have many concussions. My biggest regret in life was not listening to the doctor when I was barely a teenager about playing contact football. That sport set a dangerous precedent of living life headfirst which has caused far more grief than it was worth. This should be mandatory reading for all parents, coaches, and athletes.

This work is a necessary read for all of us involved in coaching, managing and organizing youth sports - such as baseball, football, soccer and basketball.
It advises us on the seriousness of any hit or jolt to the head.- since 90% of concussions do not involve actual physical contact!!
It recommends that hits/jolts be taken seriously - because of the possible long term harmful consequences.
