This story made me laugh and also made me cry at various times. It is the heartwarming story of a little dog and his lifelong desire to be reunited with his first love. He has many different adventures during his travels but always manages to pull through the rough spots. Anyone who's ever had a pet disappear can relate to Katey and Nelson and hope that their own pet is reunited with them.

This is a great book for dog lovers. It is a touching story told from the perspective of a dog who roams away from home and continues to roam for 8 years. A feel good story.
