Amazing book! I'm surprised more paranormal stories don't take place in psychiatric facilities. Alison doesn't want to remember why she was incarcerated, so we learn what happened along with her. Very well written with realistic characters. This book is what I expected but didn't get from Kelley Armstrong's The Summoning, which has other strengths.
