An enjoyable and revealing presentation of what goes on with those who aspire to achieve stardom in the competitive opera world.
It is not unlike the world of sports where few make it to the center stage.
The principles to succeed in this world of opera are the same as those in sports, or in any other highly competitive field.
This was an enjoyable portrayal of the struggles to achieve stardom. For example, a couple was shown rehearsing while taking care of their child and truck driver singing while driving his truck. The choristers have ordinary jobs, but still pay the price to be involved in the background. Mentioned also is the wearing of uncomfortable costumes.
Yet they shine being both individuals in a team setting - the same as in baseball!
