This is the uplifting story of Annie Sullivan's troubled life and how she forms a strong emotional bond with her student, a young blind/mute girl named Helen Keller.
This graphic non-fiction work did such a good job of portraying the lives of Annie Sullivan and her famous student Helen Keller. The way Helen is portrayed in her world of darkness and silence is extraordinary. Nicely done - if you're at all interested in either of these women, this is a must-read.
A riveting and emotional telling of this familiar story. The graphics are super. Check it out!
A surprisingly moving biography of Helen Keller and her teacher, Annie Sullivan. Tight writing and some great art, particularly the depictions of the world from Helen's point of view. Cool stuff.
