Jess Aaron's wanted to be the fastest runner in 5th grade, he has been preparing for the "race" since summer started and now he is ready to go, but that all changes when he meets Leslie Burke, who shows him that imagination can change his life. They make an imaginative kingdom called Terabithia and have many adventures along the way. Then a terrible accident happens... leaving all of us in shock and despair.
jesse gets a grade 5 boy going through poverty gets a light in his life when his new neighbor leslie moves in the create a magical world they name Terabithia but sadly leslie tries to go to teribithia by herself and drowns in the river jesse has to overcome the sad loss and in her honor builds a bridge across the river.
