Colonel Chris Hadfield has spent decades training as an astronaut and has logged nearly 4000 hours in space. During this time he has broken into a Space Station with a Swiss army knife, disposed of a live snake while piloting a plane, and been temporarily blinded while clinging to the exterior of an orbiting spacecraft. Hadfield takes listeners deep into his years of training and space exploration to show how to make the impossible possible.

Listening to the author really made this audiobook a gem. It feels like he's comfortably sharing his life with you, self-deprecating guffaws and all. As if the story itself wasn't inspiring enough! I highly recommend this especially if you are looking for a self-help or leadership book that doesn't read like a to do list.

Fantastic audiobook, but could you really expect something else from the man who so ably embodies unassuming excellence? Col. Hadfield is an inspirational figure and a great Canadian, and I for one feel privileged to have heard him speak at White Oaks Secondary School back in his pre-YouTube sensation days.

I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed this super interesting book. Col. Hadfield is an impressively accomplished man as well as being a very likeable sort of guy. He narrates this audio production himself and does a great job of it. He explains his journey to becoming an astronaut as well as his experiences in flight and at the International Space Station. I would recommend this for sure.

A great guide, read by the author making it all the more immediate and wonderful. He shares his experiences in such a way as to teach, for sure, but also entertain along the way. You'll start sweating the small stuff in no time. My ten year old - on a recent long trip - kept feeding me the next CD to keep the story going, that tells you how fun this is. Wow-ly recommended.
